    Requirements

    A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Land Administration or Land Management with at least four years of lecturing experience at tertiary education level and/or industry experience or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Competence in teaching at three of the following courses: Land Administration, Land Management, Land Policy and Land Governance. Experience (with evidence) in research in Land Administration, Land Management, Land Policy and Land Governance themes are required. Competence to establish professional networks and to maintain links with the industry, as well as experience in developing under graduate programmes is required. A credible record of peer-reviewed publications, community engagement, moderation, supervision of students (research) at under-graduate level, as well as a relevant Doctorate will be an advantage.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Teach, assess, and develop curriculum, conduct community service, and administration. Supervise research (projects and/or thesis) at undergraduate levels; conduct research and publish in accredited journals; source for research or project funding; establish professional networks with industry and universities and partake in Department, Faculty and/or University Committees.
