The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

• The RA will work on a project to conduct the research on the production of self-healing cement additive and its applications.
• The RA should have previous experience in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX).
• Additional experience in rheology and 3D concrete printing would be preferable, but not required.

Job Requirements:

• Master / PhD in Engineering, Material Science or Chemistry
• Strong academic standing with several publications in reputable journals
• Good English speaking and writing skills
• Strong references from previous supervisors
