This is a CONTINUOUS OPEN ANNOUNCEMENT for the University’s Adjunct Faculty Pool. Tuskegee University seeks to maintain a pool of individuals who are qualified and willing to provide instruction to Tuskegee students. Individuals with experience and appropriate credentials in instructional areas offered at Tuskegee University are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will be required to comply with internal academic policies and with external accreditation agencies standards/requirements in order to retain appointment.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Adjuncts are hired on a part-time basis to augment the instructional needs that current faculty members are not available to meet.
Qualified candidates will be chosen from the Adjunct Faculty Pool to participate in additional application/selection processes
as specific needs arise. Adjunct Faculty may be employed to teach courses, make presentations, provide facilitation, or other
service activities defined in the future at Tuskegee University as required.
- A graduate or first professional degree within the discipline or directly related field.
- Excellent communication skills
- First professional degree plus master’s degree in the discipline or directly related field plus specialty board certification (depending upon ranking)
- Three or more years of college level academic experience after the degree or six plus years of college or business and industry experience after the degree (depending upon ranking)
- Publication history
- Experience with online instruction
