The Division of Jazz Studies seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need may include but is not limited to:
Teach applied lessons in jazz voice.
Requirements:
Experience in singing jazz at a professional level.
Expertise and experience in teaching vocal jazz performance.
Master’s degree or post-baccalaureate certificate in music required.
Professional experience may be accepted in place of earned degree.
