    The College of Naturopathic Medicine at the University of Bridgeport invites applicants for a part-time adjunct opportunity to teach Psychological Assessment. This course is presently scheduled for Thursday mornings, 8:00 -10:00 for the spring 2018 semester.
    Psychological Assessment covers the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Included is the development of the DSM, psychological assessment considerations, referral options, and treatment modalities including psychotherapeutic, psychotropic, and alternative interventions. Special attention is paid to addictions and eating disorders.

    The preferred credential is a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA approved, doctoral program.

    • Demonstrated ability to achieve course learning objectives with engaging, student-centered strategies
    • At least one year of successful college-level teaching experience (can include part-time teaching)
