Opportunity: Kent State University accepts applications on a continuous basis for part-time faculty. All classes are taught on-site at the Kent Campus. Adjuncts teach no more than nine credit hours per semester (three courses). Adjunct instructors generally teach introductory level courses (Introduction to Photography , Photography 2 , or PhotoTech ). Intermediate and Advanced courses may be eligible for adjunct instruction depending on program needs and instructor expertise.
Qualifications: Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) in photography and/or Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in photography with sufficient experience in the industry. Proficiency in digital photography, Photoshop, and studio lighting is preferred. Teaching experience is a plus but not required. The school is interested in candidates who are committed to the development of the campus climate that supports equality and diversity.
